[X-Newbies] haveing trouble open a pdf attachment...

After emptying the Safari cache and Reset my Safari
1.2 - IÕm unable to open any PDF file...

When I get an e-mail and I try open a attachment, it
opens to the virus scan results window but when I then
try to download the attachment I get a blank window
and that it...

I tried to open one that I had in the past been able
to open and it will not open either...
