[X-Newbies] Apps folder permissions

Hi all,

I've been trying to drop an application (actually iCab3 beta) in to my
applications folder and get the msg 'operation cannot be completed as you
do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items', even though I'm
running as admin.  I've tried repairing permissions with no luck.

Anyone got any ideas?
