[X-Newbies] Connecting to the Internet

Go to the Network Preference Pane. Click on your active network 
location (probably Automatic, as this is the default location). Click 
the Configure... button at the bottom left. You will see a popup menu 
labeled "Show". Make sure "Internal Modem" is selected. Then click on 
the PPP tab. You can enter your primary and secondary phone numbers in 
the dialog box. Click on the Apply Now Button to make this selection 
active.
