I use FWay Pro although I am a complete amateur and only do simple sites
mainly for academic purposes.  I have looked at RapidWeaver but I would
guess that it is very good for beginners but would run out of steam if
you wanted to do something more complex.  FreeWay - at least the pro
version - is pretty extensible, so in the long run might prove a better bet.

I agree not cheap, although I get it at academic rates so perhaps I'm not
the best judge!
