[X-Newbies] Word not working

             This you can find out.

             Go to Library>preferences>Microsoft>word settings.    
Open that file and about half way down the first screen of  
gobbledegook you'll see the beginning of the list of the previous  
documents.


              You might try opening that document in another program  
and see if that changes anything.
