Brian, there may be something else at work here.

The file you referenced downloaded to my Mac at a reasonable 472K; I was
able to further shrink it to 456K.  Both are a lot smaller than what you
were trying to post.

I will send you my copy of the original, separate from the list, but you
might look to your mail settings to check what your mail program is doing to
outgoing attachments.
