[X-Newbies] Help - spinning beach ball w/one minute of Leopard install left on G5.

What exactly does show up?  You old Tiger version number?  What  
startup options do you see?

In my first reply just a few minutes ago, I almost suggested cleaning  
the DVD drive again and doing a second Archive and Install,  but then  
if the Build number shows up OK, maybe not.
