Hey!!! I went to the Disk Utilities menu and clicked Erase on the 1 TB raid card device and what do you know? There is now /dev/disk1, /dev/disk1s1 and /dev/disk1s2. diskutil verifyvolume shows it is the raid. I guess I am getting closer to having a working system again, this time with a raid. Martin
