That's a shame.  I have the jog/shuttle controller from Contour Designs that
is already setup to control the QuickTime Player, but not VLC.  I was
thinking of getting the camcorder for my wife to take to dance class.  She
could use the jog/shuttle to scrub over the difficult steps.
