I looked around and didn't find anything, so I did a clean install of  
XP SP2 and a couple "essentials", and then I quit VPC and copied the  
drive information to a DVD.  Now whenever I want to reclaim some  
space I just copy it off the CD and back to the HD and start over.

If I find a few more "essentials" I add them to the install, and make  
a new DVD.

Not ideal, but it works.
