Well folks... What seems to have worked - I had accumulated numerous fonts in my ~/library/fonts Folder - due to laziness, Suitcase not accepting certain fonts, or whatever, but.. dumping fonts in there (Windoze TT fonts included) - generally loaded them & made 'em available. Fonts are notorious for causing problems, soooo... I had an 'aha' moment & thought about extraneous/corrupt fonts, & cleaned out my ~/library/fonts Folder.. All is well... Of course, after trashing numerous preferences, etc., I have a little 'new app' type tweaking to do, but hey.. that's OK. Darn fonts.... (BTW - someone mentioned "globalpreferences.plist" - I didn't have it!!) (I just reread the eMail & noticed it called ".globalpreferences.plist", - with a dot - so maybe it's invisible??) Anyyywayyy..... I'm running Adobe Apps again, so.. thanks & wish me luck!!
