[X4U] Corrupt plist file

Hi,
I ran $ plutil -s ~/Library/Preferences/*.plist, and it reported that
~/Library/Preferences/com.appsc.data.plist was not proper XML format, or
some such error message.

I've moved the file to my desktop and rebooted.
I ran $ plutil -s ~/Library/Preferences/*.plist again, no errors.
Everything seems OK so far, but I was wondering how I can find out what this
file does or what application owns it?
