A quad processor eh..... and will it be mostly useless until the 
programmers work it into their applications?

Because Apple was hot & cold about having DPs in their line (they came and 
went a few times) it took programmers ages before they seriously supported 
it in their apps. Let's hope the same doesn't occur with Quad.
