[X4U] 20" Apple Cinema Display problem

My husband had Apple's first-design pedestal flat panel LCD monitor. He got
a vertical line, too. Reattaching the cord didn't help. It was only a couple
months after buying the monitor and computer, and it was covered under
regular warranty. The problem wasn't with the computer, it was in the
monitor, and chances yours is too. All he had to do was send in the monitor;
he used his old CRT while the LCD was being serviced. The G4 didn't have to
go in.
