Physical device. i.e. You'll only see 128 GB however much you slice  
it up.

There's a driver out there which allows a machine to see the full 160  
GB hard drive - see <http://www.speedtools.com/ATA6.shtml>. I've not  
used the driver and they make some understandable warnings about  
making the first partition 127.99 GB.

<http://www.lowendmac.com/macdan/05/1024.html> has 4 ways of getting  
the full 160 GB of data from an older Mac.
