Widgets belong to the Dock process. So if you have Widgets running and switch to hierarchical view you can find them if you expand the triangle next to the Dock process. I have not used my Dock for a while, so there's not triangle next to it although I have two widgets running. Then I open Dashboard, et voila, in the background I can see a triangle added to the Dock in the Activity Monitor and attached to it the Calendar and Calculator Widget using 20 and 18 MB (what a joke! People would tear Microsoft into pieces for such kind of bloat.).
