[X4U] Do you REALLY need matching memory in a Mini?

It's from German c't-magazine. So
a) it's in German, and
b) it is only available in print.
(They publish only few selected articles in English:

But c't-magazine is still world renowned among the IT pros for their  
thorough IT journalism together with the business oriented iX sister  
magazine. They are also the only European member of the SPEC  
benchmark group (at least they used to be, not sure as of 2006).

Yes, that's the whole point of this e-mail thread: The cebop has only  
one RAM slot, so even with the same chipset as the Mac Mini it cannot  
use dual channel RAM access. That's a killer for some types of  
applications that require both the CPU and the GPU to access their  
shared RAM intensively.
