Leasing is a good idea if you are in a profession where the speed of your 
computer makes a big difference to you.  For instance, if you are doing 
computer animation, 3D work, video editing, or using a lot of heavy duty 
filters in Photoshop, the faster your computer, the more work you get 
done.

If you lease your computer, you can turn over your computer every year 
for the latest and fastest computer available, with little price penalty, 
and for much less than purchasing a new computer every year.  There also 
may be tax advantages on top of this if your computer is used solely for 
work purposes.

Often in large cities there are a number of places where you can lease 
Macs from.
