Yeah, the MacBook Pro is going Intel.  I think that there are plenty of
people who want a high end notebook for watching movies, using iApps, etc.
The old G4's were so slow, that Apple can sell plenty of these new ones to
people who don't need Photoshop.  Really, those G4's were too slow to even
do the basics. 

Didn't Apple say that their own pro apps will go universal next month?  That
doesn't sound like a company dumping their software.
