Cross posting -- posting your own words to more than one group at a time --
is not. They¹re your words, after all.

Forwarding someone¹s words or copy/pasting something written by someone else
to another group without that person¹s knowledge and permission, is a sticky
wicket. Yahoo¹s Terms of Service specifically state that it¹s an
infringement; many other organized lists to which I belong specifically
state this, as well.

If you include bits of someone else¹s message in a message that you
cross-post, you may well be infringing on their copyright, depending on the
policies of the list.

I performed a Google search and found this

question.

peace,
Linda
