It is true that they can refuse to help troubleshoot third party equipment that alters the way that their product works. e.g. an accelerator kit. But if you simply install a new hard drive or RAM, if they were to refuse to help you troubleshoot a problem with your Macintosh, they would be in big trouble legally unless the problem could be directly attributable to the third-party product. ___________________________________________ Randy B.
