Thanks for thinking of me.

I was surfing the Apple forum and found a chart that shows the differences
between the two, and they are quite significant.

Feature       Extreme         Express
56K modem       Y               N
LAN port        Y (I need)      N
Audio Out       N               Y
Antenna Port    Y               N
# of clients    50              10

Airport Express would not be for me, no matter what.
