Hi everyone, A quick question about text to speech. I was showing my daughter how she can use text to speech to have the computer read her essay back to her. I highlighted the text in Word and started it reading. She was impressed but since she was done for the night and didn't want to listen to it then, she just saved her document and quit Word. The computer kept reading her essay even though Word was closed. I'm wondering why this is so? Is there an audio file (or some other type of file) created somewhere that is taking up memory? How does it keep reading the text once you quit the application? Mark
