[X4U] Why does Mail show .wmv files

  Actually this feature was a problem ( a security problem ). So far,  
to date, we Mac users are protected from all the problems ( viruses,  
adware, trojans, spyware, ..... etc. ), that MS users have, by not  
allowing things to just automatically run by themselves. We typically  
have to initiate the item and or enter in a valid user name and  
password. IMO the new feature change is much more suitable to me due  
to its secureness. It is not a great deal of inconvenience to me to  
right click on a video that generally comes from the MS world  
(generally unsecured ) anyway.  A couple of mouse clicks doesn't  
require that much energy.

  If you are right clicking on it inside the email, technically you  
are not opening it outside of mail. Think of WMV in that usage as a  
plug in. If there is an mov file attached, mail doesn't actually open  
and play it either, Quicktime does.
