I have been recommending to clients these procedures, and many have adopted them as well. The 2 iPhones in my family obviously don't do flash. A friend of mine is a web developer who is very experienced with (and fond of) flash. I have convinced him, with help from his iPhone, YouTube, Vimeo, and Apple.com, to look into HTML5 as an alternative. He now plans on getting up to speed with HTML5 and then generating revenue by contacting all his clients and offering to refresh their site and remove all the flash. From every site he has done over the years. It will take time, but momentum is building towards a flash free future. In another year or so, I should be able to remove or block flash from my machines completely. And if we are vocal enough, it will happen quicker. If you get to a site with flash, why not send a quick email to the webmaster suggesting HTML5. If nothing else it may make them aware of it! Dave
