Is this Jaguar? Is it my iBook? Any > suggestions? My six month old battery died in my iBook. Apparently, some iBook batteries just aren't quite right. It went from being able to run the ibook for five hours to just about 30 minutes within a week or so. A (long) call to Apple had them send me a new battery in exchange for the old. Funny thing is, it started right after I upgraded to Jaguar. Personally, I doubt there's any connection, but I've seen others (on the Apple Support boards) complain about their iBook batteries dying after Jaguar too. Has your charger by any chance stopped glowing orange while charging? When the battery died, I notied that mine had. I got a new charger along with the battery just in case. Cheers Thomas
