LOL All the ports on my PC were always jsut out there. > As mentioned in my other reply, the small panel is on the rear (not the bottom one where you install memory and AirPort). Since iMacs are designed to look nice from any angle (unlike the rear of any PC), Apple made two interchangable panels to keep a clean appearance. Since most folks don't hook up an external monitor to their iMac, one panel is solid. For those who want access to the VGA connector, you can remove the solid panel and install the one with a recessed oval that allows access to the VGA port. When the iMac is first pulled from the box, the owner installs the preferred panel which is usually the solid one. Then they eventually misplace the other one along with their manuals and software CDs. -Mark
