[P1] Power nib

Yep, I took my iBook apart to install a new hard drive. The hardest 
part is removing the bottom case since it so firmly attached.

As well as the three screws under the feet that you've already found, 
there are 7 or so plastic tabs that hold it to the metal chassis 
underneath.

The best way to remove it is to turn it upside down and start in the 
battery bay. You have to use some force, but not too much that you 
crack the case. There is a balance that you have to find but I assure 
you it is possible. If you have two old credit cards (or similar 
plastic things) it will make the job easier. Don't use a metal 
screwdriver- you'll chip and probably crack the case.

Once the bottom is off you'll need to remove the bottom shield as well, 
which is fairly easy.
