No, that's GOOD. Unlike the similarly-named Windows Media Player,
WinAMP is actually the windows name for "a streaming MP3 player." That
means iTunes if you're a Mac user. :)

It's not, as you've discovered. It's a LOOOOONG story, but in a
nutshell, the creators of WinAmp actually created MacAmp FIRST, but
went where the money/fame/glory was ... at present there isn't really a
version of MacAmp anymore. The current reigning champ of non-iTunes MP3
players is Audion, by Panic Software (www.panic.com). It's great and
has features iTunes doesn't (like recording).
