The only thing I can suggest (which does not solve your internal
problem) is to circumvent the track pad and use an auxilliary mouse - I
use a small turbo-mouse only because I find it difficult to use the
track pad. The model like mine costs about $20 at either Best Buys or
one of those superstores. (Make sure it will work with Mac.)
