"Installing A Service Pack

Windows 2000 users who need to install service packs for CorelDRAW 9 or 
Corel  PHOTO-PAINT 9 may need some additional instructions. In fact, it 
won't work  unless you perform this rather unintuitive step (this is 
from a Corel Knowledge Base article:

Change the current TimeZone to GMT+8:00 Perth and the date to  1999 
(this can be done using the Date/Time Settings in the Control Panel).  
Install the required Service Pack(s) and reboot your computer. When 
Windows  loads, reset your system configuration to reflect the current 
date/time"

our laws do not protect us?
