[P1] Windows media player installer won't install on ibook?

I just downloaded WMP 9.0 (for OS X) and used it immediately with no 
problems. I suspect the link you used may have led to an older version 
and was incompatible with X. Go to versiontracker.com and search for 
WMP 9.0 for X just in case there is a 9.0 for OS 9 also.
