Speaking of doing such, is there any easy way to undo that? One of my pet peeves is when I'm trying to drag (a) document(s) into an app on the dock, unless I'm exactly over the app, it'll slide out of the way to make room thinking you want to drop the document(s) on the dock. More than once, I've accidentally dropped 100 files into the dock when I only wanted to Stuff or FileType them. Boy howdy, is that ever a mess! The only way to fix it is to go and manually edit the dock plist file, which isn't very user-friendly. -----Original Message----- From: iBook List [mailto:ibook at lists.themacintoshguy.com]On Behalf Of Kirk McElhearn Sent: Thursday, January 01, 2004 11:30 PM To: iBook List Subject: Re: [P1] icons in Finder window toolbar On 1/2/04 4:12, "Bill Raffensperger" <raffy at macsrule.com> wrote: > I thought it would be cool to have my Calculator available there, > instead of the Dock. Course my > unread iBook List digests have piled up some. You can poof it off by holding down the Command key and dragging it off as well. Dragging icons to the toolbar is a bit deceptive, because you have to hold them there for a couple of seconds before you see the + icon showing that you can add them.
