The eternal dilemna question...stop, ou...encore!

Is it the right time to change my little 'puter ?

I am due for a new portable computer...
My son could take my iBook 466 graphite, the first Firewire
ibook, an the last of that serie who was shape like a toilet
seat...some used to say for fun!

I now have to make my mind in between the newest ibook, or the Powerbook.
My pockets say to me: Take the ibook! It's a lot cheaper than how
much  you've previously paid, 3 years ago, for your G3 Graphite,
(2/3) , but so much more powerfull!!

A G4, a  3 times faster CPU, and 3 times bigger HD  (10 gigs to
30 gigs), 
Resolution at 1024 X 768 (800 X 600 fror the old graphite)
Combo drive (I could only read CD and DVD, with my graphite, not burn!)
Much better graphic card
Airport extreme ready too!
And of course, a brand new copy of OS X.4 (?), with Garage band
suite and Ilife suite too!!

I was lurkin toward the 12 inch Powerbook too, but...since I have
closed my bikeshop, and that I am now back to school...so...no
business writeoff for me this time, and I can't take back the
taxes either...(15 % in Quebec!!). I am merely eligible to the
educational rebate...a chico  -7 %...

Soooo...This is why I think I will stick again with the iBook...

P.S.:Got to be reasonable,hey ?
But I am not a monk or a saint!!
Got to please me a little too either...

-Can't refrain to add a 512 meg of ram (experience talking) 768 total!
-I want the 60 Gigs HD, not the 30 ! (always short on space)
-I want the Airport card (Hy graphite has it, I love this ad-on)
-And...I want my candy! I will take an iPod also!

What do you think of my choice?
Anybody think I should wait for Apple show in Paris, for new iBooks?
