Yes you can put 10.3 (Panther) on a clamshell and it is supposed to be 
10-15% faster than Jaguar. I am waiting for Panther to get here for 
mine. I currently run 10.2.8 along with OS 9.2 for the stuff that I 
can't get done in OSX but so far that is only connecting to my Newton.
