[iBook] Clamshell hard drive

The 10 gig is, in all probability, a 4200 RPM. You can get cheap 
(relatively) 4200 RPM 40 gig drives that will actually be slower 
because of the greater size, although you might not notice it. The 
solution would be to get a 5600 RPM drive. That would improve the drive 
access side of your experience quite a bit. The cache size (on the 
drie) also makes a noticeable difference, so more cache would help, 
too, if you end up with a choice.

The other speed tweak would be to max out the RAM (always a good idea, 
especially if you are going to try to put OS X on that puppy).
