[iBook] Can't read "wmv" files

Hi list,

Since I've upgrade to tiger, I can't read anymore some (not all) of
the ".wmv" files I have on my computer either with "windows media
player" or "vlc".
The last file I downloaded from the web, I was able to read it once
but when I open it few days after, I couldn't!
More weird, I can read those files from the shared folder of a fellow
who is running windows!

VLC error : "main: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `WMV3'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format."

WMP error : "le type de flux de données spécifié n'est pas reconnu"

Any ideas will be appreciated,
