I recently put a 5400 RPM 120Gb Seagate in my 14" iBook (also
1.33GHz). I don't really sense any speed improvement. I was a
little concerned about putting a faster drive in due to heat. I'd be
more concerned with the 12" iBook.

I rarely boot my iBook, normally I put it to sleep. And I leave most
applications open so there is only a delay when an app has been
mostly purged from real memory and it has to load form virtual.
