Ayep, been there, Shawn. ;-) Plus, I tested the procedure here. Works for me.

Note that Janice now needs to disable her MacBook's OF password 
protection in order to use Target Disk Mode. From what she says, it 
seems that she lacks confidence in her ability to do this. I don't 
think it's all that difficult but it's her call.
