[iBook] thumb drive Linux, was Re: Hard Drive for G3 iBook dual usb

Could you tell where to find info how to run Linux on
a dual USB G3 iBook from a USB thumb drive?  That sounds
like an interesting trick.  And I wonder what it would
be like on a USB 2.0 G4 iBook, say.
