[iBook] ibook g3 600 mhz (2002/late 2001)

Hello,
Thanks for taking my question.  I've been given an ibook with a problem.
When powered up, it shows two things - the screen with a message "You need
to restart your computer...", and on top of that a "panic" message which
says,

panic(cpu ) caller 0x002E0EBC) :  Unable to find driver for this platform:
"PowerBook4,3".

Latest stack backtrace for cpu 0:
         Backtrace:
               (a series of numbers here)
Proceeding back via exception chain:
