[iTunes] Prespecifying shuffle and equalization

Hey Adam,

I always transfer as much of my "top rated" playlist (5 star designated
tunes from my library) as the mini will hold. But rather than listen
to, say, ten 5-star Steely Dan songs in a row, I'd like them shuffled
in with the rest of the good stuff, without needing to tell the pod to
do so each time I get in the car.

As far as the equalization question, is there some way to designate an
equalization curve for an entire list, or do I have to choose the curve
for each individual tune? For that matter can I designate a preferred
equalization curve to my entire library all at once, at the "archive"
level, rather than choosing one at the playback stage?

Hope these questions make sense.....

Thanks in advance!
