[iTunes] Problem with iTunes + several iPods

Hi; I am new...
 
I was stumped with a problem from my boss earlier this week; he says on his PC, whenever he opens iTunes it cannot find the songs he has imported. All of the songs in his library have exclamation marks beside them.
 
He told me he, his daughter and his wife all have iPods, and access the songs by docking at the one computer.
 
Any ideas?
 
(and glad to be here! I use iTunes heavily, on PCs and my Macs.)
