[iTunes]iPod Classic fainting spells

I finally got iTunes to recognize it just by leaving it connected for
a good 15 minutes. Suddenly the screen flashed and bingo! There it was
so I was able to restore it to Factory Settings. It's working now but
when I did this before it didn't last long until it repeated the
unwanted behavior. We will see. If it happens again I'll either send
it to Apple or to your suggestion Mike. One thing with Apple tho, is
sometimes they just send you a new iPod.
