Instead, I drilled a 1/2" (approx) hole in the plate between the two connectors. This allows for almost the same amount of airflow as no plate, because the connectors themselves block most of the opening anyways. And, I grabbed the tip from Jesse (I think) about removing the modem card - which seems to allow some airflow behind the card - couldn't hurt... With the fan from the Sonnet install kit - it seems to run quite cool, and still very silent. I use it with a 17" ADC CRT, and a 15" ADC LCD (with a Geffen adapter). Regards, Julian Tracy
