The best way for getting old tapes in to DV is trough one of those DV camcorsers from Sony or Canon. Many models have input for analog audio-video and make the transition too much better. Of course a DV camcorder is more expensive than a Hollywood Bridge or any other gadget that could make a similar job, but you also get a DV camcorder.
