[CUBE] HELP!! cube acting up bad

You may well have too MUCH memory. You may be causing math errors in
the antiquated Mac OS 9 memory logic. You certainly don't need to use
VM if you have 1.5GB of RAM. Turn it off.
Did you have these errors when you only had 512MB?
Actually, I had goofy 'disk full' errors in many programs when I went
from Mac OS 8 to 9. They were spurious, caused by some bizarre
incompatibility between 8 and 9. Make sure you have versions of
software which are claimed to work under Mac OS 9.
