Yes it's the same cable that works fine for my G4 tower... Interesting, though - I've just booted and managed to get a connection (as listed below - only 1 in 3 pings getting through). This is when connected direct to my Netgear gateway router. But if I put a Kingston 10/100 Ethernet switch in between them, I get full connectivity. Maybe there's some sort of packet collision that isn't being handled right by the switch in the router - although all my other computers work fine with it.
