[CUBE] a kind of relay from cube plug ins?

I get what you mean, but the solution is right under your nose :)
- use the USB hub
- use the firewire hub
- use the network switch

...adn you won't need to look under your cube again (ok, except for the 
modem cable/monitor/power supply, but you don't need to touch these 
anyway).
