I've noticed similar behavior on my cube (w/out the Belkin). Usually, it's an issue with the iPod and only after I've put the cube in Sleep mode once or twice. Rebooting fixes the problem until I Sleep the Cube next time around. I bugged some Gurus at the local Apple Store, their only suggestion was to reset the PRAM, which I've not yet remembered to do. My hardware's similar, in fact, I just bought the Belkin FireWire hub and had not had a chance to install it yet. Typically, the machine just has the iPod plugged in, but I often connect an iSight and one of several external firewire drives. I'd be interested to know if anyone's found a fix, or at least quick way to reset the mount/FireWire status. On Tue, 06 Jul 2004 18:44:03 -0400, H.R.
